Rebecca True

Rebecca True founded True Capital Advisors, LLC in May 2009 following eight years as a Sr. Financial Advisor with Bank of America / Merrill Lynch in New York City and Central Florida where she advised families, business owners, and executives on all aspects of their finances. Rebecca earned the Certified Financial Manager (CFM) designation and advises clients on portfolio and asset management, personal or business credit, retirement and estate planning, and protection from unnecessary income, capital gains, and estate taxes.

With over 19 years of consultative and financial services industry experience, Rebecca began her career managing technology initiatives for large corporations including financial services firms. Formerly a New York City resident, September 11th, 2001, made an indelible mark on Rebecca’s personal priorities and career path. In the wake of that tragedy, she felt the calling to assist families and women by prioritizing their financial concerns and devising strategies to help them feel more secure about their future.

Rebecca and her team work with clients across many industries and True Capital Advisors’ practice has been developed exclusively through introductions from existing clients and relationships in the community.

Rebecca was honored to be a nominee for Orlando Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business 2012 Businesswoman of the Year” award. She has also been recognized in past years as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Orlando Magazine for overall client satisfaction. Rebecca was also featured in Senior Market Advisor magazine, the industry’s leading national publication for advisors specializing in retirement and legacy planning services, as the cover story for their October 2012 issue.

Rebecca is frequently called on by leaders and media to speak about women and diversity initiatives within the financial services industry. She participates in a variety of industry symposiums promoting best practices within financial advisory firms.

Rebecca is actively involved in the Central Florida community. She currently serves as a board member and Past-President of the Central Florida Women’s League (CFWL) and is a board member of the CFWL Foundation. She serves on the investment committee for the Central Florida Foundation, as well. Rebecca also served as a founder and Chairwoman of the Orlando Professionals and Executive Network (OPEN), an organization of successful women business leaders in Orlando.
